Attention taxpayers -- Please ensure you are using Marquette Township's correct mailing address for tax payments. The address is Marquette Township, PO Box 36, Pickford, MI 49774. The Walnut Street address is no longer valid and may result in late receipt of payment, which could lead to late penalties. Please make sure your Bank or Credit Union's bill pay is up-to-date!
Michigan Qualified Forest Program Changes
Effective for the 2019 tax year, and moving forward, the QFP 2 mil fee equivalent is now required to be collected during the summer tax season. Taxpayers with QFP land will now see this fee on their summer tax bill and not on their winter bills. Questions about this change can be directed to the Michigan Department of Ag & Rural Development.
